SYNOPSIS

In February 1942, at 27, in an aura of prestige after his recent success “Citizen Kane”, Orson Welles goes to Brazil to shoot a film he will never be able to finish. In August of the same year, his divorce with Hollywood is pronounced.
Half a century later, “It’s All True” opens with a document relating, through a very meticulous survey and numerous evidences, Welles’ epic in Brazil. It then continues with the whole of the film which was thought lost, “Four Men on a Raft”, restaured according to the instructions of the film-maker.
