In Laos, nature is beautiful and seems peaceful.
No one can imagine the violence that hides here, lurking in the grass.
Even though, from time to time, an explosion can be heard in the distance, it’s almost absorbed, as if choked in so much beauty and serenity.

This happens one day in the Savannakhet region, 500 kilometres south from Vientiane, Laos’ capital city. A child dies handling a cluster bomb.
