Ben is a late-20s aspiring stand-up comedian who lacks originality and life expérience, and fails to get from the audience the respect and laughs he tries to create. When dumped by his longtime boyfriend, he slides into a descending spiral of alcohol and casual sex. he starts delivering bits about his own lifestyle with disarming candor… and finds a voice.
