Harry Wootliff wins IWC Schaffhausen Filmmaker Bursary Award

Harry Wootliff has been awarded the £50,000 IWC Schaffhausen Filmmaker Bursary award in association with the British Film Institute (BFI). The awards ran over the 2021 BFI London Film Festival in which Wootliff’s second feature, True Things, was in official competition.

True Things, starring Ruth Wilson and Tom Burke had its World Premiere at Venice Film Festival before its UK Premiere in London.

The other IWC nominees were Lee Haven Jones for his debut feature The Feast, and Rob Savage for second feature Dashcam. Wootliff was chosen by a panel comprised of actor and filmmaker Phoebe Waller-Bridge and BFI CEO Ben Roberts.
