After Love has won six awards at the BIFAs, including Best Independent Film.
Writer-director Aleem Khan won the Douglas Hickox award for best Debut Director, Best Director and Best Screenplay. Joanna Scanlan won Best Actress for her role and Talid Ariss for Best Supporting Actor.
