SYNOPSIS

Pat and Madjid struggle to survive in the housing projects, getting into all kinds of trouble and living by their wits. They finally land a job, but when Pat gets fired, his friend follows him out the door. The two then steal a car and head for Deauville… A strange kind of harem too! The girls here are neither princesses nor veiled virgins locked away in a lavish palace. They’re lost girls, easy- going, who give themselves for a half-pint of beer or for a smile when tenderness is in short supply. This isn’t a fairy tale, it’s simply the strange life of Pat, Madjid, their friends, Malika… a strange life where tenderness is all that’s left to survive on.
