Charlotte Rampling has been nominated for Best Actress for her role in 45 Years.

The 45 Years actress Charlotte Rampling, has been nominated for an Oscar at the 2016 Academy Awards. Rampling has been nominated as Best Actress for her role as Kate Mercer in Andrew Haigh’s feature film 45 Years, produced by The Bureau.

This nomination comes after both her and actor Tom Courtenay won the Silver Bear Awards at Berlinale for their performances in the film and both Best Actor and Actress awards at the European Film Awards. The film has also been nominated for Outstanding British Film at this year’s BAFTAs.
