A British couple (Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan), try to rejuvenate their marriage by visiting Paris for the first time since their honeymoon.
Less romantic as it sounds, the trip to Paris begins to show the fault lines in their relationship. Whilst there, they run into an old friend (Jeff Goldblum), who acts as a catalyst for them to realise, maybe all is not lost.
