Cocaine, alcohol, painkillers, addiction. Thirty-something Margot has always done her drugs alone. Her life is a fabrication of her own making. After a blackout, she finally seeks help. In search of a fresh start, she retreats to a detox centre. Here Margot will learn confidence, friendship and solidarity. She will ultimately take advantage of this new world to confront herself, her parents, and discover that becoming clean is a collective sport.
Fabienne Godet addresses the themes of self-esteem and relationships with an unconventionally realistic film-making approach. As the camera rolls, the line between fiction and reality blurs to deliver a deeply emotional exploration of how love and friendship can sometimes be the best cure.
